Paula’s closet is a dream (so’s her shoe collection) but she needed help “merchandising” her wardrobe so she can easily locate what she needs.  Shoes and garments are arranged by function, season, style and color. Additional drawers in clear acrylic simplify the search for socks and such.

Jerry upsized in his last move so has lots of space for everything but still needed to make decisions about stuff he’d moved and stored then moved and stored throughout his life. From several large sets of sentimental china and crystal to dozens of plastic logo cups, things he didn’t need or even really like were taking up psychic space and creating emotional clutter.  The items he loves and uses were placed in the “right” spots, considering his left-handedness, height and lifestyle.

Ernie and Sam moved from a two bedroom place to a tiny cottage. They loved the cozy charm of the place but were smothering. Bikes and computers and books and clothing had to compete for every inch.  We started by rethinking the living space; reconfiguring the relax/eat/work areas. Even the bathroom provided unexpected clothing storage when we evaluated their lifestyles

Graham just remodeled his crowded galley kitchen and created a fabulous cooking and dining “wing” with lots of counter and cabinet space. Our project was to sort through numerous dishes, cookware and extra utensils that had been stashed and forgotten to determine what would make the cut for the new posh scheme.  We organized everything to maximum efficiency so he could get to entertaining, not hunting.

Steve (Sofa Swapping)

Steve has homes and offices in several cities and isn’t quite settled in any of them. Only in town for short spurts, his mail collects, the stacks grow and the furniture seems to reproduce. We created more space by replacing bulky pieces with sleeker items from other rooms, freshening them up with new textiles. The move provided room for filing storage in the office to house the piles of papers.
